How do I prepare myself for a sleep study?
On the day of your sleep study you should avoid consuming any food or beverages with caffeine, i.e. coffee, sodas, chocolate, etc. If you are concerned that you won't be able to sleep the night of your sleep test, avoid naps the day of your test, and consider shortening the amount of sleep you get the night before to improve your chances of being tired for the sleep study.
What do I bring with me?
You should bring any medication you take before bedtime, and favorite pillow (we also provide pillows), your night wear, a book if you want to read before bedtime, and change of clothes for the next day, and any paperwork we sent you to be completed.
